Trust & Foundation Status
The Governors of Ralph Allen School met on 8th September 2009 and voted to amend our original Trust proposal, as a result of this, the name of our Trust is now 'The Ralph Allen Innovation Trust' and the revised implementation date is now the 30th September 2009.
On 30 June 2009, following the second phase of consultation, the Governors of Ralph Allen School voted in favour of becoming a Foundation School with a Trust as set out in the Full Statutory Proposal which can be found below. Governors took full and serious consideration of the views of staff and stakeholders in our community in making their decision and we would like to thank all that gave us their feedback and ideas. We are very excited about what will happen next and where this will lead us.
Governors met on Tuesday 12 May to review and consider responses to the first consultation period. Governors spent some time discussing the issues raised and voted on whether to proceed to the next consultation stage. This vote was carried with one abstention. The second consultation phase lasts from 28 May 2009 to 24 June 2009. We invite parents to read our full Statutory Proposal and comment further during this time if they would like to.
